HAPPY NEAR YEAR! If you are looking for family-friendly options to celebrate the New Year with your kids, these local events are sure to be fun! 

Noon Years Eve
B&O Railroad Museum
Tuesday, December 31, 10AM – 1 PM
Ring in the New Year at the B&O with themed New Years Activities! Create your celebratory party hat and mirror ball, then head over to our Resolution Station and set your goals for the new year!
No New Year’s Celebration would be complete without the chance to see the ball drop, make a toast (with apple juice), and celebrate with confetti poppers!
Don’t forget to commemorate this great day out with family with photos topped off with balloons and props.
Included with Museum Admission | B&O Members are FREE

Noontime New Year
Port Discovery
Tuesday, December 31 – 10 AM – 5 PM
Join us at for our festive New Year’s Noontime Celebration from 10 AM to 5 PM! Enjoy a special countdown to noon complete with a balloon drop, lively performances, and interactive games that encourage teamwork and creativity. This fun-filled event is included with museum admission

Three hours of games, songs, dances, relays, group activities, and a balloon drop with a countdown at noon!  New Year’s Eve hats, blowers, etc.  Pizza lunch included! 18mos to 9yrs.

New Year’s Eve Symphony of Lights – Midnight at 7

Tuesday, December 31, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Fireworks start at 7:00PM, Tickets are $15 per person or $50 for a group of 4. Children 3 and under are free. We encourage you to bring your own chairs so you can set up along the walking course at a safe distance from each group. Strollers and wagons are welcome. Dogs are not permitted, except service dogs.
NOON Year’s Eve Party
Tuesday, December 31st, 11pm-3pm
We will host a ‘ball drop’ at 1 pm complete with a countdown, balloon drop, noise makers and more. A live band will be playing music on stage with giveaways for the kids. There will be a ton of kid friendly activities, adult friednly beverages and food the whole family will enjoy!

The Charmery celebrates New Year’s Eve with a ball drop, but at 8:00pm – so that everyone in the family can party together!
Once again, we host the event as a full blown party at The Charmery’s Ice Cream Factory at Union Collective, so there is tons of space for all sorts of frivolity. That means special Glitter Tattoos, Magic, New Year’s ice cream flavors, beer from Union Craft Brewing, plus DJ Sir Scoops-A-Lot spinning killer tunes to ring in the New Year!Admission Is Free!
