Spring Break Bucket List - Baltimore County Moms

Spring Break Bucket List

Mar 20, 2026

For most area schools, Spring Break is on the horizon.  This year, both Catholic and public schools will be off the entire week after Easter.  While some families will pack up the masses and head on a trip, many families will stay local and explore everything our gem of a county has to offer during the break.  Many activities feel obvious- a day at Sky Zone, hiking Patapsco State Park, or simply park hopping your way around town (and toward bedtime).  The obvious aside, I have put together a list of five must-do activities to make this spring break a memorable one- without breaking the bank!

1. Titanium Athletics

Ready for some fun? Titanium Athletics, a local sports club in Glen Rock, PA, is thrilled to offer open play! Their state-of-the-art facility has everything you need for a day of active fun. From bounce houses to ninja courses and climbing walls, they’ve got it all. Check out their website for open play days and times.

2. Great Wolf Lodge

A 126,000-square-feet indoor water park kept at a warm 84 degrees year-round? Yes please! Splash into adventure this spring break with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD.  Stay for the day or book a suite for an overnight experience. Aside from the waterpark, Great Wolf Lodge has attractions for everyone- including Ten Pawl Alley, Howler’s Peak Ropes Course, Northern Lights Arcade, and much more! Visit the website to learn more.

3. Charly’s Waterfront

Opening on April 3rd for the season, Charly’s Waterfront feels like an easy, laid-back family outing where you can actually relax while the kids stay entertained.  Set riht on the water, families love grabbing a table on the outdoor deck, where there are yard games, space to move around, and even a small arcade/game area that keeps kids busy! Overall, Charly’s a great spot where parents can enjoy the waterfront views and good food while the kids have just enough to do to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone.  Visit the website here.

It is packed with family-friendly fun, from indoor and outdoor pools with movie nights to hands-on activities like crafts, scavenger hunts, and seasonal events.  Kids can enjoy everything from an arcade and mini golf to outside adventures like fishing and biking.  With daily activity schedules and plenty of space to explore, it’s an easy, all-in-one getaway for all.

5. Dutch Wonderland

Opening on March 28th for the season, Dutch Wonderland is your perfect day trip with the family.  It designed as a “kingdom for kids,” with rides and attractions perfectly sized for younger children.  With 30+ rides, live shows, character meet-and-greets, and a water play area, there’s nonstop entertainment that keeps kids engaged all day without feeling overwhelming for parents.  Explore everything Dutch Wonderland has to offer here.
